Françoise Biesse Debos's paintings lure us into a world of freedom with neither beginning nor end.
The artist's sensitivity confronts force and fragility, darkness and light. She is drawn to abstract composition: a connection with reality seems maintained at first sight, but colour quickly takes over. Lines criss-cross and lead us onto imaginary paths that take us nowhere. We wander in an uncertain world, between earth and water, in a deep and intimate discovery of nature. The infinity above and the infinity below unite in the exploration of space.
